Gun Lake Michigan Casino History
Despite development delays, Gun Lake opened in February 2011. Because of the legal wrangling over the federal government’s decision to grant the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians the land on which to establish it. Lawsuits exacerbated the complications, but the Michigan online casino never reopened after it opened. They dropped the most recent court actions in 2018.
Over 33 table games, 1,600 slot machines, a 225-seat cafe, and a food court, as well as a few restaurants, lounges, and a live entertainment spot, were available at the original casino. Gun Lake Casino Michigan signed a sportsbook and online gaming agreement with Parx Casino in March. Parx is a casino in the Philadelphia area that has begun operating online in Pennsylvania. Parx will become one of the state’s 15 sports gaming and 15 online casino operators.
